Terms of Service & Equipment Usage Agreement

1. Ownership of Equipment

Please be advised that all hardware, including but not limited to antennae, routers, cabling, and mounting brackets installed at your premises, remains the sole and exclusive property of Electrocom. The installation of this equipment constitutes a service agreement for the provision of connectivity and does not, under any circumstances, represent a transfer of ownership to the subscriber.

As a bailee of the equipment, the subscriber is responsible for ensuring the hardware is protected from theft, intentional damage, or unauthorised tampering.

2. Subscription & Payment Structure

Electrocom operates on a fixed-term monthly subscription model. All service fees are strictly payable in advance on the first day of each billing cycle.

It is important to note that this is not a pay-as-you-go or “on-demand” service. By activating your account, you are entering into a continuous monthly commitment. To maintain an active and stable connection, payments must be kept current regardless of the volume of data consumed or the frequency of use during that period.

3. Delinquent Accounts & Equipment Recovery

In the event that a subscription remains unpaid, Electrocom reserves the legal right to suspend service immediately. Should an account remain in arrears for a period of two (2) consecutive months, Electrocom retains the absolute right to decommission and recover all proprietary equipment from the subscriber’s premises.

The subscriber hereby grants Electrocom technicians permission to access the property for the purpose of equipment collection during standard business hours. Please note that the recovery of equipment does not absolve the subscriber of any outstanding debt incurred during the active service period.

4. Installation Approval & Technical Callouts

To ensure the aesthetic and functional integrity of the installation, it is the sole responsibility of the subscriber (or an authorised representative over the age of 18) to be present at the time of the initial installation.

  • On-Site Approval: The subscriber must review and approve the placement of all equipment, including drilling points, cable runs, and mounting locations, before the technician concludes the visit.

  • Relocation Requests: If a subscriber requests to move or reposition equipment after the initial installation has been signed off, this will be classified as a new technical request.

  • Fees: A standard callout fee will be applied to the subscriber’s account for any return visits required to modify the physical setup of the equipment due to a change in subscriber preference.

5. Compliance

By proceeding with the installation and payment of your subscription, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms in full.
